Attorney Tanya Mitchell Graham is the owner of The Law Office of Tanya Mitchell Graham, P.C. Affectionately known by some of her clients as the “Pitbull in a Skirt”® and by other clients as the “Gold Digger Killer”®, she has represented a wide variety of clients, including many professional athletes, entertainers, social media influencers, and others. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Attorney Graham has made Atlanta her home most of her adult life. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Vanderbilt University in May, 1987, and her Juris Doctor Degree from Georgia State University College of Law. After passing the July, 1991, Georgia Bar Exam, Attorney Graham began practicing law in the areas of Family Law, Business Law, and Entertainment Law.
While Attorney Graham has focused her Family Law practice on handling divorce, child custody, child support, legitimation and visitation cases, she has become known as a fierce advocate for Father’s Rights. The very first father that Attorney Graham was able to get awarded primary physical custody of his children was in 1993. Since then, Attorney Graham has gotten numerous fathers awarded primary physical custody and joint physical custody of their minor children. Attorney Graham also drafts and negotiates prenuptial agreements.
Attorney Graham’s Business Law practice has consisted of business formations, setting up non-profit corporations, drafting contracts, and negotiating commercial leases and franchise agreements. Attorney Graham has also enjoyed representing several independent record labels, producers, songwriters, recording artists, managers, promoters, and reality TV stars.
Attorney Kamali Thompson is an Associate Attorney with The Law Office of Tanya Mitchell Graham, P.C., where his practice focuses on Family Law, Entertainment Law, Trademarks and Copyrights. He represents clients in a broad range of domestic relations matters, including divorce, child custody, legitimation, child support, contempt actions, modifications, and post-judgment litigation. Attorney Thompson is committed to providing strategic, detail-oriented representation while helping clients navigate complex legal disputes with confidence and professionalism.
Attorney Thompson has extensive experience drafting and litigating motions, conducting discovery, preparing witnesses, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in hearings and trials throughout Georgia. He has handled high-conflict custody disputes, emergency family law matters, enforcement actions, and other complex domestic relations cases. His practice is built on thorough preparation, strong advocacy, and a practical approach designed to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients.
In addition to his family law practice, Attorney Thompson advises clients on entertainment law matters, including contract negotiation, business formation, intellectual property, and issues affecting artists and creative businesses. Drawing on his prior experience as a music executive and entrepreneur, he brings a practical understanding of the entertainment industry that complements his legal counsel, allowing him to effectively serve both individuals and businesses in the creative sector.
Mrs. Faison graduated from Dorchester High School in Dorchester, MA, and attended Bryant & Stratton Business College in Boston, MA. She worked in the Steno area of United Business Service (investment consulting firm) before relocating to Atlanta in 1968. Shortly thereafter, she was employed by CPA/Gold Kist, Inc. in their Personnel Department where she worked in several areas of Human Resources Management. Her primary interests were in the Personnel/EEO area for over 35 years.
Mrs. Faison initially started in the billing department for the Firm in 1999 as a part-time employee. Over the years, she has become the Chief Financial Officer of TMG, P.C. handling all of the Firm’s financial matters, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. Additionally, Mrs. Faison oversees all personnel matters for TMG, P.C.
Karchona graduated from Tougaloo College, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.) in English/Pre-Law, and she received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL. In 2015, Karchona became a licensed attorney in the State of Mississippi, focusing her practice primarily on Consumer Bankruptcy Law. As a result of the drastic economic downturn, bankruptcy filings steadily declined. In hopes of finding better employment security, Karchona relocated to Georgia where she joined the illustrious Law Office of TMG, P.C. serving as a Senior Paralegal. Karchona is a seasoned litigation paralegal with over 10 years of litigation experience. While most of her experience has been in bankruptcy litigation at the federal and district-court level, she also has substantial experience in Family Law.
Karchona handles reviewing and drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions for the Firm, as well as analyzing discovery responses from opposing parties, legal research, hearing and trial preparation, and direct communication with multiple litigation clients. Karchona is an integral part of TMG, P.C.
